About Kevin Lee Bennett

 

Hi there, my name is Kevin Lee Bennett, I was born in the West Midlands, Birmingham, United Kingdom, and I’ve been drawing since I was a little baby boy. The talent that I’ve been blessed with has allowed me to illustrate and design for various companies. Companies such as: Bacardi, BBC, Top Banana, Second Home Productions and Laughing Gravy Design. I have also had the chance to illustrate in comic books along side great comic book Artists like Hunt Emerson, John McCrea and James Hodgkins.

 

My main influences that have inspired me through the years vary from Artists such as: Boris Vallejo (Fantasy Artist), Bob Wakelin (videogames and comic book Artist), Ron Cobb (concept and Fantasy Artist), Shinkiro (video games cover artist), Drew Struzan (blockbuster cinema artist) and there’s many more I could mention. I am also influenced by cartoon animation, animation such as: Japanese Anime Battle Of The Planets, Akira, Ghost In The Shell (and also some of the Walt Disney animation). I have a lot of love for these cartoons as they had a big impact on me and influenced me whenever I was illustrating comics and working on various art projects. Even the movies played a part (mainly old school movies though) movies like Star Wars, Blade Runner, Alien 1 and 2 and stylish films like Minority Report and the Mission Impossible movies.
